About Fay Young
Fay has an MSc. in Human Resource Development (London), an MA in Communication Processes (USA) and a Diploma (with Distinction) from the College of Speech Therapists.
Most recently she gained a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Mediation Studies (with Merit) from Birkbeck College / IFT.
Other recent qualifications include an International Coach Federation (ICF) approved Diploma in Coaching Supervision (CSA) and completion of INLPTA certified Diploma, Practitioner and Master Practitioner programmes in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), with all the learning being integrated into her practice.
Fay’s career has evolved through becoming a specialist in Organisational Development with a focus on the individual. She tutored on the MBA programme for the Open University Business School for a 15 year period, including three contracts in Ethiopia. An earlier African experience was gained through short term consultancy in Tanzania for APSO (Irish Aid Organisation).
Fay has many years experience of the Health sector, initially as a Speech and Language Therapist when her work included teaching undergraduates. As the Assistant Director of Human Resources in a large NHS Trust, she had responsibility for Organisational Development, Training and Development and Communication. She worked for many years as an Associate of the British Association of Medical Managers (BAMM) supporting Consultants moving into management roles (Medical & Clinical Director).
